RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS

RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM SPECIALIST Salary Range: $8.37 - $10.34 hr.
Position Summary: As a member of our Residential Services Program the Residential Program Specialist is responsible for the intake procedure of new clients entering the shelter, distribution of supplies, supervision of client activities, and providing proper information on agency services and making appropriate referrals to help meet clients’ needs. Maintains client files and evaluations up to date and records pertinent shift information in daily logs.
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalency, plus a minimum of 6 months human services experience, preferably in a residential setting working with diverse population. Must have strong communication skills, oral and written, computer literate and knowledge of community resources helpful. Will consider volunteer work in human services field. Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Preferred Requirements: BA in Human Services with two years in Social Services field; one year residential; six months experience with homeless population.

Position
Summary: Patrol premises and property to ensure safety and provide a secure environment for residents, clients, guests, employees, volunteers, residents, clients, and shelter property. The security officer will enforce all rules and regulations set for the operation of the Village.

Minimum
Education and Experience: High School Diploma, Valid California Guard Card with 6 months of experience.

Preferred
Education and Experience: College course work in security related field and 2 years public contact with 3 years of experience.

Regular full-time and regular part-time (20-31 hours a week) positions come with a standard benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and life insurance, pension/401k plan, long-term disability, a self-elect short-term disability option, and 23 days PTO (Paid Time Off) annually. Regular part-time position benefits are pro-rated. Temporary, seasonal, on-call and part-time positions under 20 hours a week are not eligible for benefits.
Salary is determined by the candidate’s ability to meet the listed requirements for the position and range of opportunity in their job classification.
For on-call positions, we cannot guarantee hours.
